Here is a list of the most frequently asked questions and answers to help you prepare your stay as best as possible.​

Sheets and bath towels are included. However, please bring your pool towels.

Check-in time is from 5 p.m. on the day of your arrival.  Check-out time is 11 a.m. on the day of your departure.

Pets are welcome (cats and dogs)! We provide a basket and a bowl for them. Plan a flat rate of 30 euros per animal per stay. Please let us know when you request your reservation if you are coming with one or more animals.  However, category 1 and 2 dogs are not accepted. We ourselves have an adorable 5 year old border collie named Pitt.

We are equipped with a high chair, a travel cot, board games and kapla/puzzle type games.

Parties are authorized for the people planned in the reservation (11 people maximum staying on site). If you are planning a party with additional people, please notify us before booking (additional fee).  Please ensure the well-being of our neighbors by continuing your party inside homes from 11 p.m. (music inside). For weddings and large family reunions (maximum 40 guests), ask us for a quote. Do not hesitate to ask us for additional accommodation solutions (in particular via our gîte Les 3 Fresnes, neighboring Les Maisons Pommes).

You can enjoy the swimming pool as you wish. Yet, from 11 p.m. you are asked to limit noise and no longer play music outside.

The swimming pool is open and heated from mid-May to mid-September with variations depending on the weather. Each season has its pleasures, do not hesitate to refer to our Your Stay page to discover activities to do outside of the summer season.

The 3000 m2 garden is completely fenced and the parking lot can be closed.

A parking is available and free on site, accommodating 4 to 5 cars. Parking on the garden lawn is prohibited.

The keys are given to you during the check-in process. We welcome you in person to introduce you to the houses, the different equipment, and answer any questions you may have about the houses or your stay. The keys are to be handed over during check-out.

The closest shop is 1 km from the cottage, accessible on foot: La Pizza d’Ablon. You will find everyday emergency commodities there, it is also a bar and a pizzeria. The cheapest supermarket is the Aldi in Rivière St Sauveur. The Leclerc de Honfleur is the most complete supermarket (drive-through delivery to the Cottage possible) The nearest organic store is Bio Honfleur on the outskirts of Honfleur

The cottage has a Nespresso coffee maker. You can buy Nespresso type capsules. 

The Chaume’s House wooden dining table can accommodate between 6 and 12 people.

Yes, the board games available are Code Name (in french), Loup Garou, 6 takes!, SkyJo, Dominoes, Mikado and card games.

You had a good stay, but did some damage? No worries. If we booked directly, we assess the damage together and retain the amount from your deposit. If we have gone through a platform, we use the conflict resolution center of these platforms (Airbnb, Abritel/homeaway, Booking).

We live nearby the cottage and are available if you have any questions or need help during your stay.

If you wish to invite additional people for lunch or dinner, or if you wish to invite guests for an event, please let us know in advance. Depending on the number of people desired, we will ask you for additional fees.

A first aid/pharmacy kit is available in the cottage (Chaume House). In the event of a medical emergency requiring a healthcare professional, contact 15, the nearest emergencies will be indicated to you by the operator.

The nearest veterinarian is Ms. Joly (Cabinet Vétérinaire du Pont de Normandie +33 6 81 16 86 28). She’s our vet for our dog Pitt. People living in England who need a return visa for their pet can also contact her.
