Here’s a list of frequently asked questions to help you prepare for your stay.

Yes, all beds are made upon arrival, and we provide towels, kitchen linens. However, please take your own pool towels.

Check-in is from 5 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM.

We’re happy to host your furry friends and provide a basket and bowls for their comfort.
Please note there is a €30 fee per pet per stay. Let us know when booking if you’re bringing one or more animals. However, category 1 and 2 dogs (as defined under French law) are not allowed. We also have a friendly 5-year-old Border Collie named Pitt living on the property.

We provide a high chair, a travel cot, and a selection of games — including board games, puzzles, and building blocks (like Kapla)

Yes, parties are allowed for the guests included in the booking (up to 11 people staying on-site).
If you’re planning to have additional guests, please inform us in advance of your booking.

To ensure our neighbors’ comfort, we kindly ask that all outdoor gatherings move indoors after 11 PM, with music kept inside the houses.

For weddings or large family gatherings (around 50 guests), please contact us for a custom quote.
We’re also happy to help with additional accommodation options, including our nearby property Les 3 Fresnes.

You’re free to enjoy the pool from 8 AM to 10 PM.
We ask guests to respect quiet hours in the morning and evening for everyone’s comfort.

The pool is open and heated to 27°C (80°F) from mid-May to mid-September, depending on the weather.

Yes, the 3000 m² garden is fully enclosed, and the parking area can be closed off with a gate.

Yes, free on-site parking is available for 4 to 5 vehicles. Please note that parking on the lawn is not allowed.

We personally welcome you at check-in to hand over the keys, walk you through the house and its amenities, and answer any questions.
At check-out, we meet again to go over the property together before returning your security deposit.

The closest shop is La Pizza d’Ablon, 1 km away — walking distance! It offers basic supplies and serves as a bar and pizzeria.

  • The most affordable supermarket is Aldi in La Rivière-Saint-Sauveur.

  • The most complete is E.Leclerc in Honfleur (click-and-collect available).

The house has a Nespresso-style machine with refillable capsules. You can bring either Nespresso-compatible pods or ground coffee. A kettle is also available.

The solid wood dining table in Maison Chaume seats between 6 and 12 guests.

Yes! You’ll find a selection including Codenames, Werewolves, 6 qui prend, SkyJo, dominoes, pick-up sticks, and playing cards.

If something is damaged during your stay, don’t worry.

  • For direct bookings, we’ll assess the damage together and deduct the cost from your deposit.

  • For platform bookings (Airbnb, Abritel/Homeaway, Booking), we’ll use the platform’s resolution center

Yes, we live on a neighboring property and are available during your stay if you need anything.

 

If you’d like to invite people for a lunch, dinner, or event, please let us know in advance. Depending on the number, we may apply a small extra fee.

A first aid kit is available in Maison Chaume. For serious medical issues, dial 15 (French emergency services), and the operator will guide you to the nearest help.

The closest veterinarian is Dr. Joly, who takes care of our dog, Pitt. Ask us for her contact details.
She’s also experienced with issuing return-travel certificates for UK guests and their pets.
